    The mission of Thinking Pro is to empower young people with thinking tools to lead successful lives and contribute to the wellbeing of their communities.

    • We believe that all learning pathways of students should be personalized and anchored in the local community of students.
    • We believe that all curriculum design should be scientifically proven-effective to improve the learning outcomes of all students.
    • We believe that teacher professional development should be teacher-centered, provide actionable feedback, and recognize school improvement plans.
  • Our Inspiration

    The idea for THINKING PRO emerged from a collaboration with a local school district: Prof. Dr Florian Feucht wanted to pursue a news media research study to learn about how young people use news media as a knowledge source, while the curriculum director was in search of a reading comprehension intervention to boost the reading comprehension of 9th and 10th grade ELA students. This resulted in a 4-year-long collaboration and intervention research study: Students improved in reading, writing, math, and science on their year-end tests.

  • Numerous local and federal agencies have supported our research, development, and first rollouts of THINKING PRO into the classroom since 2019, including:

  • Now, THINKING PRO is available to everyone as an online curriculum that can be implemented as a turn-key solution by teachers in face-to-face classrooms, hybrid settings, and long distance (summer slide, pandemic). Our newly released app provides students and teachers online and offline access to the curriculum. Hence, Thinking Pro can be completed anywhere, anytime.
